The greenway

What is the greenway (la coulée verte)? It is made up of 24 km of landscaped embankment between the canal and the Vesle river. The greenway is open to all, either for relaxing or for sport: pedestrians, joggers, cyclists, roller skating, those with reduced mobility, fishers, rowers, etc.

Montagne de Reims

Less than 20 kilometres from Reims, the Regional Natural Park (PNR) of Montagne de Reims encompasses 533 km² over 65 municipalities with its agricultural plains, valleys, forests and hills covered with the exceptional vineyards of Champagne. There is much to discover in this natural and cultural heritage, including the Champagne Hillsides, which have been included on the UNESCO World Heritage List, Roman churches, the Faux de Verzy trees and much more.

Heritage

Reims is famous for having two entries on the UNESCO World Heritage List: the first entry includes the Cathedral, the Palace of Tau and the Former Abbey of Saint-Remi and the second the Champagne Hillsides, Houses and Cellars.
